Our technical skills

We have particular expertise and experience in React (a JavaScript library), “vanilla” JavaScript (ES6/7), TypeScript and, of course, the latest CSS and HTML, but also in overall application architecture.

Deeply familiar with version control (Git), unit testing frameworks, npm and a host of third party packages, we’re used to optimising applications for accessibility, as well as fast loading and execution.

Not only this, but we also have a keen appreciation of design rules, and are very familiar with applications such as Figma.

Orland Media is led by Gavin Orland, a Senior Software Engineer with two decades of experience across government, finance, and enterprise-scale projects. Gavin specialises in JavaScript and React, and has a track record of stabilising troubled projects and delivering under pressure.
