We've worked on many brands, from small companies to large multi-nationals. We apply the same high standards to everything we do.
Blinder.tv
- A revolutionary development
Working with New Graphic, we have just finished creating a new website for leading Irish film company Blinder Films.
During the three month development period we not only created the entire Flash site, including a custom video player, but also integrated a Wordpress blog and tailored a full featured Content Management System for the client. Using this they can change virtually anything to do with the Flash site, easily setting background images, adding new content, rearranging the order of videos etc.
With this facility staff can update their site without having any technical knowledge whatsoever - any content changed in the HTML version is immediately reflected by the Flash site.
We avoided the use of XML in this project, instead using Flash Remoting, which is much faster - you can see the speed on the site.
Not only is the site entirely dynamic, but it is also completely deep-linked, meaning that it may be navigated to any depth using the browser's forward and back buttons, and any state of the application may be bookmarked.
This package - Flash site with fully customised Content Management System - is something we would like to offer as standard to clients in future. It provides the best of both worlds: a slick, stylish front end while content remains completely under the customer's own control. Please contact us for further information.
Orange Rockcorps USB Wristband Application
September 2009 and we have just finished work on a Papervision3D application which has been given out on over 5,500 USB key wristbands at the Orange Rockcorps gig at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The application, which displays videos from the gig, will also be used for the Paris Rockcorps event.
Euro RSCG KLP
During March, April & May of 2009 we worked on a major Flash project - the redevelopment of the corporate website of Euro RSCG KLP, the Soho media agency. This site is entirely dynamic and contains thousands of lines of ActionScript 3.0.
Many challenges were overcome in the development of the site, which contains everything from full-screen video to a built-in MP3 player. In particular, we developed an asset viewer which can handle video, SWFs or images, and we took trouble to ensure that all content continually scales and aligns to a resizing browser.
Soon the site will be further enhanced and we plan to integrate it with a CMS back-end using Flash Remoting. This will make it even easier for staff to update, and will make load time even faster.
Joanne Hynes Fashion
February 2009 saw us lending assistance in the development of a high profile new site for fashion designer Joanne Hynes. We provided the preloader as a totally customisable component and handled the background image loading, ensuring it is smooth and seamless.
Nokia - Marketing Calendar
We were brought in during January 2009 at short notice to tidy up a Flash file, make timings precise and animations natural. The file was a Nokia presentation which will be used by the company internally. An unusual return to keyframe tweening for us, but another job completed to specification by the requested deadline.
New Graphic - update
We've just spent some time updating New Graphic's web site so that it is not only fully dynamic but also resizes neatly to fill any browser size. At the same time we improved the preloader and menu behaviour.
For this project we worked exclusively in ActionScript 3.0, using FlashDevelop and a Subversion repository.
Disney: Cheetah Girls
We recently assisted Ogilvy Action in the development of an ActionScript 3.0 driven site to promote Disney's Cheetah Girls. Working at the beginning of the project, we defined the over-all structure of the "Dance Me if You Can" game and created a countdown timer which adhered to the MVC design pattern.
Climate
Climate is a creative design & communications company based in Dublin, helping the likes of Hewlett Packard, EMI and Wrangler. We assisted in the creation of their own website by programming (in ActionScript 2.0) a scrolling image gallery for their Selected Work section.
Quantum of Solace
In October 2008 we worked with global media network Mindshare to promote new Bond film Quantum of Solace, which is due to be released on 31st October. For this campaign we produced Flash video content and animated GIFs regionalised for four different countries.
The Edge
The Edge is a subsidiary of Havas - one of the world's largest advertising and communication groups. We were appointed to construct the agency's website, which required Flash/JavaScript communication and needed to be easily updatable via Adobe Contribute. We accordingly kept the site simple but effective, using PHP for dynamic elements.
MEC Global
Design agency XM London (part of advertising giant WPP) approached us in June 2008 asking us to assist in integrating several Flash components to create the 2008 Showcase for MEC Global. This required us to work in both ActionScript 2.0 and ActionScript 3.0 and have the two communicate. It also provided us with an opportunity to use the AS3 version of Papervision 3D.
New Graphic
New Graphic is an Irish design agency. We were asked by them in 2007 build the infrastructure for a fast loading, totally dynamic site for their company.
We developed the site completely in ActionScript 3.0 (approx. 3,000 lines of code) and made it entirely XML driven so that New Graphic can easily update it themselves.
KLP Euro RSCG
In 2007 we began a highly successful working relationship with Soho design agency KLP Euro RSCG. We were asked to assist with the programming of their corporate site. Remotely from Tokyo, we engineered the preloading architecture and created the entirely dynamic, easily updatable "Key People" section for the site.
The Hill That Breathes
The Hill That Breathes is an Italian yoga retreat which approached us in 2005 to develop a rich-media site for their organisation. We produced an immersive site featuring lush stock photography, atmospheric sound effects and subtle animation.
London Friends
London Friends was an organisation aiming to help visitors make the most of London by arranging social events at a variety of interesting locations.
We designed and developed this site, writing more than 2,000 lines of PHP and setting up a database which eventually held details of over 1,200 people.
BBC Teens - Snowfight Game
In 2003 we were approached to carry out all programming and construction for a game for BBC teens website (Slink). In association with John John Design we produced Sleb Snowfight, which proved to be tremendously popular among teenagers.
Earth Sea Spirit
Our work for The Hill That Breathes was noticed and we were asked by another holiday company to create both the identity and the site for Earth Sea Spirit. We made the site using Flash and again designed it to be easily updatable by our client.
Nokia - Kiosk interface
Working with KLP, we were asked to create this accordion-style menu for Nokia. It is fed by dynamic data and is generated almost entirely from ActionScript.
Shaun Power Associates
In 2005 we created a Flash website for design firm Shaun Power Associates.
We concentrated on simplicity, clarity and subtlety of animation.
BBC Teens - Barbrawl Game
So popular was the Snowfight game the following year we were asked (again with John John) to reskin the game to be set in a bar. Here's the result.
Hewlett Packard - Printer campaign

 |
In 2003 we worked on a campaign for Hewlett Packard, promoting their laser printers. We created a number of banner ads including these, featuring randomised ActionScript programming and audio effects. |
BBC Teens - Love Calculator
Following the success of the celebrity games, we were again approached by the BBC, this time to create a "Love Calculator", replicating with code a playground game.
The legendary Love Calculator has now been used by a variety of pop stars, not least Taylor Swift!
Nokia - Kiosk interface
Working with KLP, we were asked to create this accordion-style menu for Nokia. It is again fed by dynamic data and is generated almost entirely from ActionScript.
Aquent

 |
In 2005, global agency Aquent, one of our training partners, came to us wanting a banner ad livening up. We took the original (upper) and created our own version (lower). |
Hewlett Packard - Client Migration
Again on a project for Hewlett Packard, in 2003 we created this corporate communications piece for them. All text is dynamic from XML, all motion produced with code.
Alien vs. Predator Requiem
In December 2007 we assisted with the creation of an online game promoting the 20th Century Fox film Alien vs. Predator Requiem. We created the full-screen scaling interface, arranged for the streaming video and programmed the game timer using organised ActionScript 2.0 OOP.
Nokia - Kiosk interface II
This project, for KLP, was a highly involved development in which we integrated 3D animation, video and ActionScript motion programming to create an immersive interactive showcase Nokia phones.
The project was built for offline use so is very heavy to download - we'd be happy to show it to you in person.
Nokia - Hallway
As a lighter option to the above, you can view here the entrance to the "Nokia Home", a dynamic hallway file we programmed in ActionScript 2.0. It's easy to add more doors, and the walls create themselves.
Total - Presentation
This is an offline presentation we created with KLP for Total. It was dynamically programmed such that the main interface detected the dimensions of loaded assets and gracefully resized accordingly.
Netmarket Online Magazine
For Netmarket we spent several weeks creating an online magazine delivery system in Flash.
The system can accept any publication in PDF form. Pages can be printed and realistically turned in 3D with the mouse, and even sounds and videos can be embedded.
Hewlett Packard - SIM Migration
Another HP project, this required more random ActionScript, dynamic motion and dynamic text programming.
Total - Paint by Numbers
Again for Total, we created this "paint by numbers" banner ad. The paintbrush floats after the user's mouse, and using a masking technique the user can fill in he picture, then fill in an integrated contact form.
Hennessy Artistry
In 2006 KLP appointed us to perform the programming behind this interface for a promotional CD featuring rapper Kanye West. The menus are entirely generated at runtime from a large and complex XML file. We used ActionScript 2.0 to construct the project, and we completed it in record time.
BBC Teens - Random Present Generator
Our latest creation for the BBC is the Random Present Generator, which we created for Christmas time. We created all graphics and sound effects and performed all programming for the game, which is dynamically driven by XML and proved highly popular with teenagers across the nation.
Hennessy - Global Art of Mixing
Our latest work with KLP for Hennessy to date, featuring ActionScripted motion and Flash's runtime filters.
Camera Care Systems
In 2002 we were approached to completely design and create the website for UK company Camera Care Systems, showcasing all of their products. We created the site using HTML, JavaScript, Fireworks, and Flash, including 3D product views and audio.
Konika Minolta

A banner ad we were asked to create for Konika Minolta.
